Studio Series XLR Male to TRS Male Cable
A great cable that is
widely used in studio and stadium equipment. XLR to TRS* cables have the
same primary area of usage as XLR to XLR cables. The only major
difference between the two is that unlike the XLR cables, XLR to TRS*
cables because of its construction run an unbalanced** line. Just like
XLR to XLR cables, these cables also incorporate a Twisted Pair
Conductors, to help transfer a smoother, more accurate sound, definitely
a great feature that every musician is looking for. Triple Insulation
along with the Nylon Sleeve will aid a great signal transfer, reduced
noises plus increase a cable durability and cable life.
* TRS – 6.3mm stereo
cable (Tip Ring Sleeve)
** XLR to TRS cable by itself is balanced, but most of the equipment
utilizes this connection as an unbalanced connection. Only few units on
the market can take an advantage of a balanced TRS. In that case, this
cable would be running it’s full potential.
Applications: This cable is
primarily used to connect a guitar, line or microphone level outputs to
mixing consoles, recorders and amplifiers that can incorporate an
unbalanced connection.
